The Vogler Residence

We renovated his original hardwood front door and designed and installed a new steel security door to provide summer ventilation for the home. Decorative powder-coated steel fencing and stair railings were installed. We renovated his existing Colorado Red Flagstone front patio and designed a completely new flagstone patio around a mature Ash Tree in his backyard. We used porous grout joints in the backyard patio to allow the tree’s root system to continue breathing and receiving moisture. A stucco-faced, New Mexico flagstone-capped seat wall was installed around the patio to create a sense of enclosure.

We poured a new sand finish driveway with decorative detailing for our client and completely renovated the exterior of his garage to match the house. A decorative cedar screen was installed around his electrical panel box to help hide that utility. The plant selection, which our client was very involved in helping to pick out, included ‘Royal Raindrops’ Crabapple and Serviceberry trees, Burning Bush, ‘Donald Wyman’ Lilac, ‘Green Velvet’ Boxwood, ‘Bartzella’ Itoh Peony, Variegated Iris, ‘Jackmanii’ Clematis, Siberian Iris, and ‘Stella d’Oro’ Day lily.
